Medtronic I Port

I have been using the I-Port for two months now.  Although my endocrinologist warned my family and I that this was an unpopular device, I personally found it to be painless and completely worth it.  I get out of three shots a day and and experience less anxiety related to shots! Thank you Medtronic!! To learn more about this, click here.

Buzzy Bee Shot Assistant

One year after diagnosis, shots continued to be challenge daily.  Our diabetic educator recommended the Buzzy Bee to us and we loved it!  It  causes nerve confusion between the vibration and the ice pack that distracts me from the pain.  I have used it at home and at school with my nurse.  I like to try whatever I can to make getting shots a little bit easier.

Love Bug Diabetes Case

When we were discharged from the hospital, we were given a green camouflage lunchbox to keep our supplies in.  It worked well, but when I saw the Lovebug Myabetic bag with a little girl at family camp, I knew I had to have it!  It has many compartments and hold everything.  It is a little bulkier than the Lilly lunch box but just as easy to spot and fun to wear!
